Description
Tall and thin like all aeldari, Ygramorn has deep dark red hair which he keeps braided into a high ponytail. His skin is of an ivory colour, and his eyes are a milky white with red bleeding into it. A warp scar travels like forked lightning from the bottom of his curved nose across the right side of his full lips down to his jaw. Like most of his kind, he wears tight clothing that is simple in shape but rich in colour, and adorns it with bone accessories and small armour pieces that are more decorative than functional.
Personality
For most of his life, Ygramorn has been the fiery passion to his brother's calm, which has caused him no small amount of difficulty in Craftworld society. Channeling his emotions into music, and after becoming a corsair into battle has kept him from slipping over the edge all Asuryani fear, and as he grew older, he managed to overcome his rebellious spite toward the Craftworlds' ways enough to re-incorporate meditation and self-discipline into his routine, evening out his temper. Despite this gained wisdom and self-control, he remained a hot-headed and emotional man, proud, impulsive and quick to change his mind, for better or for worse. Two major events changed him. After meeting Yvraine and joining the Ynnari, he has become calmer and more thoughtful; and after the death of his brother, he gained a sullen and morose side. Ygramorn is naturally still a man guided by his passions and moods, but he can swallow his pride and anger if he believes it useful, and adapt to whatever situation he finds himself in.
Biography
Summary
Born on Ulthwé, Ygramorn and his twin brother Ygraval felt stifled by the Paths of the Asuryani, and struck out on their own. Through many trials, they eventually became leaders of the Vermilion Cut corsairs, a minor but well-feared faction in their sector.
The twins enjoyed a life of power and indulgence, but Ygramorn could never shake his fear of Sailanthresh and eventually found an answer to it in the followers of Ynnead, joining the Ynnari and bringing their path back to the Cut.
One fateful day soon after however, Khornates attacked them during a raid and wiped out both the Vermilion Cut and its victims. Only Ygramorn survived the attack… thanks in no small part to a human Rogue Trader…
Early Life
As a young man on Ulthwé, Ygramorn first followed the Path of Awakening together with his twin brother, then moved onto the Path of the Musician, while his brother tread the Path of the Warrior. While the twins enjoyed what their Paths could teach them, they chafed against the rigorous discipline and restrictions of the Children of Asuryan, finding more stability and safety in each other than the Craftworld’s way of life.
And so they struck out on their own.
Vermilion Cut
After many tribulations on the Path of the Exile, the twins eventually gathered followers and a fleet and began to raid their region of space as the Gealladh Deagrain (Vemilion Cut) Corsairs. While never the biggest faction in the region, Ygraval’s brilliant battle strategies ensured that the Corsairs were well-enough feared and respected alike.
The fact that the Vemilion Cut was lead by two princes was generally unknown outside the fleet. In any interactions with outsiders, the twins would take each other’s place as The Prince while the other would act as the Prince’s faceless bodyguard. Thus they swarted numerous assassination attempts and kept the upper hand in negotiations through their ‘unpredictability’.
The only true threat to the Cut were local Drukhari raiders. After an encounter left Ygramorn permanently disfigured and a good third of their fleet destroyed, the Cut avoided the Drukhari at all costs.
Ynnari
Even long after that devastating Drukhari attack on the Vermilion Cut, Ygramorn still felt his mortality much more intensely than his brother. Unable to fully shake his apprehension of his (and his brother’s) eventual death and eternal suffering at the 'hands' of Sailanthresh, he began to search for ways to preserve his soul that did not rely on a return to the Craftworld.
One day he heard of Yvraine, Chosen of Ynnead, being on a mission to a nearby world. Curious, Ygramorn took what was supposed to be only a quick leave to see the infamous Ynnari Cult for himself.
The Cult’s teachings captivated him immediately. Convinced by their reasoning (and their might), he joined the Ynnari, despite his brother begging him to return home to the Cut. Once inducted, he followed Yvraine through several battles and recruitment campaigns, before finally returning to the Vermilion Cut... for a recruitment drive of his own.
Hoping to save as many of his valued friends and crewmembers, but especially his brother, Ygramorn began to spread both the teachings of the Ynnari Path as well as the stories of his own experiences with them. While some members of the Cut were amenable, Ygraval was anything but. He felt betrayed by his brother’s choice to leave, and even more so by Morn’s attempt at what he considered splintering the Cut. For the first time since their birth, there was bad blood between the twins.
Khorne Attack
Before the growing rift between the brothers could be mended, disaster struck. During what should have been an easy raid on an Imperial Transport, followers of Khorne descended on both fleets without warning. They indiscriminately massacred Men and Aeldari alike.
Ygramorn found himself the only survivor of his fleet through nothing but mundane coincidence, stuck in a dead ship with the corpses of his crewmates for days before he was found by the salvage crew of an Imperial Rogue Trader.
Current
Ygramorn is aboard the Rogue Trader’s flagship, the Downfall, whose Lord-Captain has requested he join the crew. Adrift in many ways without his twin, he has agreed. He is currently a member of Scout Team M4, and aids the ship's Enforcers in their daily patrols.
Relationships
Muon Ι-Φ-6
Despite having deeply twisted values and very nonsensical beliefs (like all humans), Muon, after an... adjustment phase, became one of the most pleasant people on the ship to be around. He even indulged Ygramon in a battle (and it was riveting).
Shol'tan Korr
He wants to fight the marine so very badly, but he is pretty sure even the ever-patient Rogue Trader would be extremely mad about that.
The Governour
The only person aboard the Downfall who actually earned Ygramorn's respect (for as much respect as a human can command anyway). He is intelligent, confident and decisive and those qualities make him acceptable as a temporary superiour. Of course, it has recently come to light that the Rogue Trader may unwittingly be part of Ygramorn's very fate, something Ygramorn never much cared for, but events have lined up in such a way he cannot shrug them off as mere coincidence...
Ygraval Amanvyrr
Aeldari twins have bonds deeper than most people could ever conceive. As the Twin Princes of the Vermilion Cut, they complimented each other perfectly… Ygraval calm and calculating, Ygramorn passionate and forceful, both putting on a well-balanced ruthless persona when pretending to be one and the same in front of outsiders. While they had many minor disagreements throughout their lives, it was only Ygramorn’s conversion to the Ynnari and his subsequent attempts at bringing other members of the Cut onto the path that could ever come close to threatening their bond. Ironically, Ygraval’s death at the hands of Khornates brought peace back to the brothers.
Abilities
Powers- Ynnari: As a follower of Ynnead and Yvraine, he is capable of using the spirits of deceased aeldari to shield himself, manipulate objects or psychically terrify his foes, and can communicate with most dead.
- Natural Psyker: Like all aeldari, he is naturally psychic. He can sense the emotions of most sentient beings, can manipulate his bodily processes such as speeding up healing or suppressing pain, can shape existing wraithbone, can exchange thoughts with other psychics and can hear the voices of the warp. By aeldari standards, his psychic powers are slightly below average.
- Battle: he is a quick and agile fighter. He is especially adept with his bone scythe, which he wields with great flair that can confuse and distract his enemies.
- Music: he has an enchanting singing voice and is highly skilled at several instruments, especially zithers.
- Glaring: if looks could kill, he would have won many battles before they even started.
- Strength: for an aeldari, his physical strength is nothing to call home about. While he is a skilled melee combatant, the impact of his unarmed hits leaves much to be desired.
- Pride: his pride is both easily wounded and easily manipulated (he's working on it okay)

Trivia
- His right arm is stripped to the bone just above the elbow, with the bones fully encased in a layer of protective psychoactive metal. While he can use it just like his other arm (as long as he has use of his psychic power), he has no feeling in the arm below the shoulder at all (as long as he has use of his psychic power)
- Due to the exceptionally close psychic bond of Aeldari twins, Ygraval's spirit is unusually active and independant, able to communicate with his brother and even manifest in his ghostly form without being consciously summoned by Ygramorn. Whether this improves Ygramorn's battle abilities remains to be seen.

NSFW
Ygramorn loves intense sensation, and what sensation is more intense than fucking? (Well, fighting but that's not necessarily mutually exclusive...)
Before his life imploded dramatically, he had an impressive collection of strapon dildos —all psychically connected to his physical senses of course— which got very thoroughly used on many people (mostly his crew). Now that he is aboard a voidship full of humans, he'll have to distract himself from his natural needs...
